This is a fairly simple board. It's called "Be the Booker," and basically, it means what it says. In this forum, you can "Be the Booker" of your own federation...even this federation. You can give your fed its own name, its own wrestlers, blah blah blah. There are just a few simple "guidelines" I'd like to lay down here because this is the internet, and everyone has an opinion. Here are a few of mine in no particular order. Don't consider them rules. Consider them guidelines from people who have the power to delete posts.
1) Just like roleplaying, not everyone enjoys your work. Not everyone is going to praise it as some beacon of salvation for the writing world. Please don't assume that they will. If someone criticizes your work, take it with a grain of salt and move on. If you want to debate with someone, fine. Let's not have anyone getting offended if not everyone likes their work.
2) As a bit of a sidebar to rule---er, "guideline" number one, when someone posts something, don't respond to it by saying "You suck" or "You're a moron" or any actually cleverly-worded insults. The people that do that know who they are. It's not fair to ask people not to get offended if you call them complete trash. Again, this is just for fun, so as Mrs. Thompson probably told you in kindergarden, "Kids, if you don't have anything nice to say..." Okay well that's not true. Just don't be a dick about it.
3) This doesn't effect CPW. If Krazy wants to make himself XC Champ in a fictional story of his, fine. If I want 4 year-old Eric Helms to be my commissioner, great. I can do that. I can do whatever I like here, because I'm booking my own federation. That doesn't mean it has any impact on CPW. It has no impact whatsoever on the booking, writing, or results of CPW, for anyone who isn't clear on that.
4) Anything wrestling-wise is allowed. EWR diaries, Wrestling SPIRIT stuff if anyone plays it, character biographies, whatever. Write whatever tickles your fancy.
Have fun with this, guys. These "guidelines" are pretty simple and easy to follow. Any of the other admins can feel free to modify them if they wish, since I threw this up on a whim; or if anyone has any suggestions on how to modify them, you can put them on the Suggestions board, or PM any and all admins. Cheers, guys.
