Archangel Michael vs Victoria Travis
The CPW logo flashes across the screen as yet another edition of Pure Mayhem comes on the air.
Ring Announcer Nathan Jacobs:
The following match is scheduled for ONE FALL!
"Punishment" by Biohazard begins to play, Golden light fills the arena as a white strobe alternates in time with the music. Suddenly, Archangel Michael appears. He stands in all of his glory and surveys his dominion for evil to vanquish before heading down to the right.
Ring Announcer Nathan Jacobs:
Introducing first, he is…ARCHANGEL MICHAEL!!!
Bolt Thomas:
So are you going to be offensive again this week, Aaron?
Aaron Gurst:
When am I ever offensive?!
Bolt Thomas:
Is that a serious question?
The arena lights go out.
I see your red door and I want it painted black
No colors any more, I want them to turn black
"Paint it Black [Epic Trailer Version]" by Hidden Citizens plays over the arena. Victoria Travis stands at the top of the ramp in the spotlight, wearing a hooded, sleeveless robe like cloak with her arms crossed over her chest and head down. With a fluid motion, she uncrosses her arms and removes her hood, spreading her arms wide and spraying poison mist. She laughs manically and walks to the ring.
I look inside myself and see my heart is black
Victory Travis climbs the stairs and steps into the ring. She pulls off her robe, spinning it and tossing outside the ring.
No colors any more, I want them to turn black
She lowers her arms and starts stalking back and forth like a predator, her eyes on her opponent.
Ring Announcer Nathan Jacobs:
And his opponent, she is…VICTORIA TRAVIS!!!
Aaron Gurst:
I just think it’s amusing how we’ve got an angel and a serial killer…
Bolt Thomas:
Fans, please try your hardest to ignore him!
Before the match starts, the tron briefly cuts to the back to show Slingshot Red preparing to watch the match. This causes a grin to come across Victoria’s face. She yells out at the tron and practically begs Slingshot Red to come out to the ring. Before anything can actually happen, however, the referee calls for the bell and the match is officially underway! Victoria goes to turn her attention toward Archangel. He charges across the ring and hits her with a forearm smash that knocks Victoria off balance. He follows it up with a second forearm smash for good measure before shooting Victoria across the ring. She bounces off of the ropes as Michael sends her stumbling to the mat with a spinning back elbow strike! Victoria tries to create space between herself and Michael, though Michael responds by closing the gap between the two of them and stomping away on Victoria.
Bolt Thomas:
Archangel Michael is sure taking it to Victoria Travis in the early going of this one!
Aaron Gurst:
Well, he’s an archangel, and he’s got a lot of vengeance to enact on someone as wicked as Victoria!
Victoria finally reaches her feet. She stumbles over toward a nearby turnbuckle and slumps against it in an effort to regain her composure. Michael tries to make her regret it by charging across the ring and trying to deliver a running clothesline in the corner! Unfortunately for him, Victoria has it perfectly scouted! She steps forward and sends Michael crashing face-first into the turnbuckle with a drop-toe-hold! Michael’s face bounces off of the bottom turnbuckle pad. Victoria quickly drapes Michael’s throat over the bottom rope and places her knee on his back - choking Michael as the referee counts the one…two…three…Victoria steps away! The fans boo her as Victoria smirks and soaks in the negative response. Michael stumbles back up to his feet and turns around. Victoria delivers a quick kick to the ribs and snaps off a swinging neckbreaker!
Bolt Thomas:
Perhaps unsurprisingly, we’re seeing a bit of a mean streak from Victoria now that she’s on the offensive!
Aaron Gurst:
I’d be disappointed if she did anything different!
Victoria drops down to the mat and locks in a side headlock, wrenching on Archangel Michael’s neck. The referee ducks down and checks on Michael. He insists that he’s good to go as he starts to drag himself back up to his feet. Once he’s standing, he shoots Victoria off of him and into the ropes. Victoria bounces off of them as Michael jumps into the air and hits her with a knee strike! Victoria staggers and drops down to a knee. Michael bounces off of the ropes and gets ready to strike again. Unfortunately for him, Victoria has it scouted - cutting him off with a dropkick to the knee! Michael’s face smashes into the mat, but he nonetheless tries to drag himself back up to his feet. Victoria hurries over toward him and snaps off a DDT, rolling Michael over for the…

Bolt Thomas:
Every time Michael gains a bit of momentum, Victoria is there to take it away!
Aaron Gurst:
We all know evil is better than good, Dolty!
Michael rolls out onto the apron and tries to recover. Victoria watches him for a moment before shaking her head. She charges at Michael - and is immediately hit with an elbow smash! Victoria stumbles back from the impact as Michael grabs hold of the ropes and steadies himself. He tries to springboard into the ring so that he can deliver a Sanctified Dominion! Victoria ducks out of the way and instead sends Michael crashing to the mat with her own Swift End! She shakes her head and covers, picking up the…

Ring Announcer Nathan Jacobs:
The winner of this match…VICTORIA TRAVIS!!!
Bolt Thomas:

Ripper vs. Divalicious vs. Slingshot Red/Avery Wright
Ring Announcer Nathan Jacobs:
The following contest is a triple threat tag team match and is set for one fall!
Light Em Up/Radioactive mashup begins to to play. Stephen and Ryan Ashworth come jogging out of the entrance way. Stephen throws his arms out, waving to the crowd to make some noise and trying ot get the crowd behind them while Ryan raises his arms. They go to the center of the ramp, holding up three fingers and begin counting down “Three...Two...One! Lay-on!” while throwing the arm out and lifting a finger for the countdown.
The two walk down to the ring, slapping hands with the fans and then climb the stairs at ringside and head into the ring. They each take a turnbuckle, Ryan looking over the crowd and throwing his arms out, while Stephen again, tries to rally the crowd behind them. Stephen yells out "It's party time!" to the cheering crowd. The two men climb down and exit the ring, giving their headbands to a fan at ringside, then take their jackets and get back into the ring to wait for the match to begin.
Ring Announcer Nathan Jacobs:
Introducing first, team number one weighing in at a total combined weight of 461 pounds and hailing from Cape Cod, Massachusetts, Stephen and Ryan Ashworth, RIPPER!!!
Bolt Thomas:
This is a nice young team in Ripper.
Aaron Gurst:
That’s one way to put it… another is that they look like a couple of young and stupid hoodlums looking to get their jollies for money.
Bolt Thomas:
They're young and hungry.
Aaron Gurst:
They keep their shit up, they’ll end up old and starving!
"She's my cherry pie"
Warrant's “Cherry Pie” plays over the arena as Divalicious struts out of the entrance way. Candice Cane and Jillian Latto, Divalicious, struts out. Candice opens her fur coat and showing off her body to the fans, running her hands up her body while She crouches down low and gyrates herself up. Candice gestures like she is making people move out of her way, while Jillian makes the “talk to the hand” gesture. The two saunter down to the ring and remove their jackets. Candice lifts her leg onto the apron and then the other, sliding in while Jillian climbs the stairs and seductively enters the ring, showing off her as and chest as she does so. Both women get to their feet, whipping their hair back and move to their corner.
Ring Announcer Nathan Jacobs:
Their opponents, first, team number two, weighing in at a total combined weight of 264 pounds, hailing from Los Angeles, California, the team of Jillian Latto and Candice Cane, DIVALICIOUS!!!
Bolt Thomas:
This pair of ladies have shown a predilection for…
Aaron Gurst:
You better be careful how you talk about them.
Bolt Thomas:
Or what? They’ll nag me to death about looks?
Aaron Gurst:
How DARE you!!!?!!?
"Up We Go" by Lights begins to play as the lights dim and the stage begins to fill with smoke. A spotlight suddenly lights up the stage, piercing the smoke and illuminating the caped figure of Harper Brooks, "The Incredible MachSpeed Slingshot Red." She nods along with the music for a moment before she raises her cape and begins to hop in place, a red strobe effect beginning to flicker throughout the arena. She begins to make her way down toward the ring, slapping hands with the fans and even stopping to give a few a hug along the way. As she reaches the ring, she climbs in and hops up into the near corner, spreading out her arms and taking in the cheers as her cape seems to flow in an unseen breeze around her. Smiling broadly, she gives the crowd a quick wave as the strobe light stops and the lights brighten back up, and she hops back down, taking off her cape and carefully setting it in the corner. The lights dim as "Firefly" by Breaking Benjamin begins to play. After several seconds, a pattern of star-shaped lights illuminate the arena, as "The Starlight Slugger" Avery Wright stands atop the entryway with a baseball cap pulled low over her eyes and a metal baseball bat resting on her shoulder. She lifts the cap slightly as she looks over the crowd, before beginning to head down the ramp, looking straight ahead and focused on the ring. Once reaching it, she climbs up the steps, then stops to look out at the crowd once again. Tossing the cap aside, she hops up onto the second rope near the corner, spreading her arms wide and encouraging the crowd to get louder. Springing up over the ropes and landing in the ring, she heads to the center, pointing the bat out at the crowd, then walks around the ring, pointing it out at all sides as she heads to her corner, where she finally drops the bat to the outside and leans back in the corner to await the start of the match.
Ring Announcer Nathan Jacobs:
And finally, team number three, at a total combined weight of 239 pounds, hailing from Cleveland, Ohio, the CPW Air Raid Champion, THE INCREDIBLE MACHSPEED SLINGSHOT RED and the CPW Brutal Havok Champion, AVERY WRIGHT!
Bolt Thomas:
These two, no matter what Victoria Travis does to them just cannot seem to be put down!
Aaron Gurst:
Keep messing with the bull and you’ll get the horns.
Bolt Thomas:
Meaning what?
Aaron Gurst:
Meaning Victoria’s not done yet. You never know what she’s gonna do next.
Jillian Latto and Candice Cane look across the ring and shake their heads in disgust as Ryan and Stephen nod excitedly at Red and Avery. Ripper, Red and Avery charge at each other while Divialicious just watch on from their corner in exasperation. Ryan and Stephen both go for big lariats. Red and Avery duck them and Ripper go running by. As they reach the ropes, Jillian grabs the top one to pull it down and Ripper go flying over to the floor, crashing down into a heap on the cold hard concrete below. As Red and Avery watch on in stunned disbelief and horror, Candice runs up behind Avery and rolls her up from behind for a blind, flash pin attempt.

As Avery rolls away, Red starts to move in and Candice catches her for an inside cradle.

Red rolls away and Avery rushes in. Jillian hurries in and Divalicious catches Avery for a flapjack. Red jumps up into a scissor kick that hits both Jillian and Candice simultaneously. Candice falls back into the corner while Jillian falls into the ropes. Red comes up to her and gets spun into an O’Cionnor roll.
ONE!

RED KICKS OUT!
Bolt Thomas:
Divalicious are trying to steal this match!
Aaron Gurst:
They don’t get paid by the hour, why shouldn't they try to win quickly? The faster they win, the less time they have to spend being degraded in the presence of lesser beings!
Bolt Thomas:
Lesser beings?
Aaron Gurst:
Look at them, and look at the others and tell me I’m wrong.
As everyone in the ring gets to their feet, Avery nails Jillian with a clothesline that sends them both over the top to the floor near the aisle. Red does the same to Candice and they land right next to their respective partners. The crowd explodes at the sight of everyone on the floor.
“A-VER-Y”
“SLING-SHOT RED!”

“OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOHHHHHHHHHH!”
Bolt Thomas:
This crowd is going crazy now!
Aaron Gurst:
Young and stupid always catches attention!
Bolt Thomas:
That was spectacular.
Aaron Gurst:
It was still young and stupid!

Stephen gets to his feet and Red jumps off onto him.

Aaron Gurst:

Ring Announcer Nathan Jacobs:
Here are your winners, AVERY WRIGHT & THE INCREDIBLE MACHSPEED SLINGSHOT RED!
Victoria Travis appears on the screen. She is holding the necklace made form Slingshot Red's hair, staring at it, letting it sway back and forth a little, her fingers spread open.
Victoria Travis: “Was that original enough for you, Harper? I'd like to think no one has ever shot you with a tranq dart, cut your hair and made it into a necklace. At least I know no one has done it to you in the CPW. Anywhere else, I am not sure. Regardless, here we are, looking at one more match. And you know, I think we need something...”
Victoria smiles and looks at the camera.
Victoria Travis: “Original.”
“The Serial Killer” closes her hand.
Victoria Travis: “I have been thinking about Super Brawl. And, it occurs to me that it is a rather pointless name for an event. There's nothing really special about it, is there? No, there really isn't. It's just a name. I think we should change that, Harper. I think we should. And you see, we need to. Hardcore Heaven has a hardcore match and King of Chaos has the tournament. But, Super Brawl has nothing. And it should. It's the first pay-per-view of the CPW calendar year. And I, for one, think it needs something special, something to make it pop.”
Victoria smiles that cold, cruel sadistic smile.
Victoria Travis: “And so, I propose you and I will wrestle in the first ever Super Brawl Match. My vision, Harper, is we take a two out of three falls match and we make it hardcore, with falls count anywhere, no count out, no disqualification and see while one of us walks away with the win. What do you say, Harper?”
Victoria laughs as the scene fades out.
Bolt Thomas: “The Super Brawl Match?”
Aaron Gurst: “Two out of the falls competed under hardcore rules? That's insane.”
Miss Daisy Jones vs Ava Jupiter
Ring Announcer Nathan Jacobs:
The following match is scheduled for ONE FALL!
"I'm Too Virtuous" Akira Yamaoka starts up and Miss Daisy Jones appears at the top of the ramp. She has a notebook in her hand. She stands at the top of the ramp and glances through it for a moment making her way down to the ring, winking at the occasional fan along the way.
Ring Announcer Nathan Jacobs:
Introducing first, she is…MISS DAISY JONES!!!
The arena falls into darkness as the bombastic "Fire Woman" by the Cult fills the arena. Ava Jupiter emerges from behind the curtain, a single spotlight illuminating her delicate features. She smiles and throws her hands into the air as the fans react with a chorus of cheers. She looks around, determined before heading down the ramp and climbing into the ring.
Ring Announcer Nathan Jacobs:
And her opponent, she is…AVA JUPITER!!!
Bolt Thomas:
Well, Ava’s never exactly…pleasant…
Aaron Gurst:
And these two exchanged quite a few words earlier this week!
Bolt Thomas:
That they did…
Miss Daisy Jones tosses her notebook aside as the referee calls for the bell and the match is officially underway. Ava steps toward the center of the ring and smirks, practically daring Daisy to take the first shot at her. Unfortunately for her, Daisy Jones seems willing to do just that - charging forward and sending Ava Jupiter crashing to the mat with a spear! Daisy quickly grabs the back of Ava’s head and slams it into the mat once, and then twice, and then thrice! The referee comes over and forces Daisy to back away from Ava. She does so, but not before winking at her and drawing a handful of cheers from the crowd!
Bolt Thomas:
These fans are enjoying this start from Miss Daisy Jones!
Aaron Gurst:
She’s been learning so much since she started here! That notebook is doing her some good!
Ava tries to pull herself back up to her feet. Miss Daisy Jones grabs hold of her and tries to shoot Ava across the ring. Ava reverses the attempt and waits for Daisy to come back on the rebound. When she does, Ava lifts her into the air and delivers an armdrag! Ava quickly grabs hold of Miss Daisy Jones’s arm and tries to lock her into an armbar, though Daisy grabs hold of the ropes to block the attempt. The referee comes over and counts the one…two…three…Ava releases the hold. Miss Daisy Jones briefly shakes her head as Ava grabs hold of Daisy’s arm and delivers a double knee armbreaker for good measure!
Bolt Thomas:
We’ve always known that Ava Jupiter was a smart wrestler, and she’s showing it right now!
Aaron Gurst:
I’m sure Miss Daisy Jones has some notes on how she can get out of this one, don’t you worry!
Miss Daisy Jones pleads with the referee to give her a bit of a break. He forces Ava to takes a few steps back as Ava glares at him angrily. Nonetheless, as soon as Miss Daisy Jones is back on her feet, Ava charges at her and delivers a chop to the chest. She follows it up with a second and then a third. Ava then bounces off of the ropes and tries to charge at Miss Daisy Jones - only to be caught off by a roundhouse kick on the rebound by Daisy! Ava crashes to the mat and groggily tries to pull herself back up to her feet. Daisy grabs hold of her and shoots her across the ring. She follows Ava into the corner and hits her with a back elbow before choking her with her foot! The referee counts the one…two…three…Daisy steps back!
Bolt Thomas:
Miss Daisy Jones has definitely shown some real improvement in this one, and she’s in a good position to put this match away!
Aaron Gurst:
Put those notes of yours to good use, Daisy! You can do it!
The referee turns to give Miss Daisy Jones a warning. Daisy shrugs him off as shoves Ava into the ropes. Daisy tries to shoot Ava across the ring, though Ava manages to reverse the attempt! When Daisy comes back on the rebound, Ava lifts her up into the air and plants her down on the mat with a Mesmerize! The fans go silent as Ava lifts Daisy up once again. She pauses for a moment before planting her on the mat with the Hypnotize! Ava hooks the leg and picks up the…

Kelly James/Francisco Lopez vs Disturbed/Nightmare
Ring Announcer Nathan Jacobs:
The following contest is a tag team match and it is set for one fall!
The house lights cut out as the opening of “Press F” by Attack Attack! begins to play around the arena as the strobes begin to flash in hues of purple to the beat of the bass and drums. At the 18second mark of the song as the lyrics kick in we watch as Nightmare make his way onto the stage. His head cloaked by the zipped black hoodie he wears; we watch as he takes a few steps forward before looking out at the crowd. Turning his back he pauses for a moment before beginning to walk backwards towards the ring while looking up at the arena tron. After a few steps he turns around and sprints the rest of the way to the ring and slides under the bottom rope. Once inside the ring, we watch as Nightmare goes to the far right turnbuckle and stands atop the 2nd rope and throws his arms up in an X under his chin before extending his arms out to flip off the crowd. Hopping down Nightmare unzips his hoodie and tosses it to the floor before sitting cross-legged in the corner, awaiting for the match to begin.
Ring Announcer Nathan Jacobs:
Introducing from team number, weighing in 196 pounds and hailing from Boston, Massachusetts, this is NIGHTMARE!!!
Bolt Thomas:
This man lives up to his name.
Aaron Gurst:
And has for years!
Bolt Thomas:
And now…
Aaron Gurst:
Now he’s gonna continue.
“Lords of War” by Otep hits and Disturbed makes his way to the bing looking even more surly than usual. He steps up onto the apron and stand there near the corner he shares with Nightmare, just waiting for the opportunity to pounce.
Ring Announcer Nathan Jacobs:
And his tag team partner, weighing in at 350, he is the CPW Devastation Champion, this is DISTURBED!!!
Bolt Thomas:
And another man that lives up to his name.
Aaron Gurst:
That is no man, that is a monster.
Bolt Thomas:
Well, you’re right about that.
Aaron Gurst:
I’m always right!
“Wayward One” starts playing as the lights turn Blue and Silver. 12 seconds into the song, Francisco Lopez appears on the stage, surrounded by smoke. He slowly makes his way to the ring, staring at his battleground as he walks around the ring. He slides into the ring, and stands in the center of the ring for a few moments, staring into the distance. He walks toward a nearby corner and stands, waiting for the match to start.
Ring Announcer Nathan Jacobs:
And their opponents, first, weighing in at 225 pounds and hailing from Hartford, Connecticut, FRANCISCO LOPEZ!!!
Bolt Thomas:
And a third man who has built quite a name for himself here in CPW
Aaron Gurst:
Now we’ll see about that.
Bolt Thomas:
What do you mean, now? He already has just like Disturbed and Nightmare.
Aaron Gurst:
He took Amy Zing from us….
The sound of an engine starting can be heard as "Saturday Night" by the Kaiser Chiefs hits the sound system. "The Apex" Kelly James appears at the top of the ramp, waving a checkered flag as she stands and smiles at the crowd. She makes her way down to the ring, slapping hands with the fans as she passes, then climbs into the ring and up into the corner, waving the flag high above her head and waving to the crowd. She then hops down, setting the flag down in the corner and beginning to stretch as she awaits the start of the match.
Ring Announcer Nathan Jacobs:
And his partner, weighing in at 117 pounds, hailing from Detroit, Michigan, she is the CPW Xtreme Chaos Champion… “The Apex” KELLY JAMES!!!
Bolt Thomas:
And this woman is making her name stand all alone right now!
Aaron Gurst:
She’s in there with monsters tonight.
Bolt Thomas:
So what do you predict with monsters versus fighters like this?
Aaron Gurst:
Pain.
Nightmare and Lopez walk out to the middle of the ring and stare through each other. Nightmare smirks and then drills Lopez in the mouth. Lopez fires back and the two start trading, Nightmare, Lopez, Nightmare, Lopez, Nightmare, Lopez, Nightmare, Lopez, Nightmare, Lopez, Nightmare, Lopez. Nightmare falls back into his own corner. Disturbed tags himself in and steps over the top rope. Nightmare looks up at him and Disturbed grabs him, throwing him into Lopez like a lawn dart. Nightmare and Lopez both crash to the mat and the crowd murmurs at what they’re watching.
Bolt Thomas:
What the hell?
Aaron Gurst:
Disturbed is looking to make a statement.
Bolt Thomas:
That’s not good…
Aaron Gurst:
No… it’s not…
Kelly comes in and Disturbed grabs her by the throat. He tosses her so that she bounces off the turnbuckles. He grabs her on the rebound by the throat again and hits a nasty chokeslam. Lopez stands up and Disturbed grabs him. He gets Lopez up and hits a Doomsday Disaster into Kelly. Nightmare gets up and Disturbed grabs him again. He snaps of a Doomsday Disaster onto Lopez. Nightmare lies there and the referee counts.

Ring Announcer Nathan Jacobs:
Introducing first, he is…TRAVIS PHILIPS!!!
Bolt Thomas:
He’s not going to be in for an easy match tonight…
Aaron Gurst:
No, he’s really not.
Blue lights strobe around the arena as the opening riffs of "Elevation" hit the arena sound system. The fans rise to their feet in anticipation. Suddenly, the opening drums of "Nothing Left" pound the sound system as Joe Summers comes running out from the back. He stands at the top of the ramp, looking focused as ever. The fans cheer loudly and show their support as Joe runs back and forth across the top of the ramp, calling for them to get even louder. He then smirks and makes his way down to the ring, slapping hands with the fans in the front row on his way. Joe slides into the ring and pops back up to his feet, soaking in the crowd reaction. He takes a deep breath and leans against the rope as he waits for the match to begin.
Ring Announcer Nathan Jacobs:
And his opponent, he is…JOE SUMMERS!!
Bolt Thomas:
Joe is coming off of a huge win at King of Chaos, and it’ll be interesting to see how this one plays out for him!
Aaron Gurst:
Unless Joe is busy looking past his opponent, I don’t think he’ll have much trouble here…
The referee calls for the bell and the match is officially underway. Travis almost immediately runs across the ring, hitting Joe with a hard right hand! He follows it up with a second and then a third. Joe struggles to keep himself upright as Travis grabs hold of him and shoots Joe across the ring. When Joe comes back on the rebound, Travis steps forward and lifts Joe into the air for a back body drop! Joe’s back hits the mat as he tries to pull himself back up to his feet - only to have Travis run at him and deliver a quick clothesline!
Bolt Thomas:
We know that Travis likes to brawl, and he’s sure showing that off right now!
Aaron Gurst:
I just don’t think that’s the kind of match you want to be having against Joe of all people! This is what he does…
Joe tries to stumble back up to his feet. Travis steps toward him and kicks Joe in the ribs. He follows it up with a second as Joe doubles over in pain. Travis then pulls Joe in and tries to get him into position for a DDT! Joe spins his way out of Travis’s grasp and pauses for a moment. When Travis turns around to face him, Joe leaps into the air and catches him on the jaw with a knee strike! Travis is staggered from the impact as Joe takes a step back.

Bolt Thomas:
