Matt "Redline" Stevens vs Angel Slade
The CPW logo flashes across the screen as yet another edition of Pure Mayhem comes on the air.
Ring Announcer Nathan Jacobs:
The following match is scheduled for ONE FALL!
“Glamour Boys” starts up and the Glamour Boys, Angel and Reaper, come walking through the curtain with nice smiles on their faces. They make their way down, slapping hands along the way before stepping in, ready for adventure.
Ring Announcer Nathan Jacobs:
Introducing first, he is…ANGEL SLADE!!!
Bolt Thomas:
Well, this match was a late addition to the show, and while I respect Angel’s talent…
Aaron Gurst:
He’s not the focus in this one at all!
"Come With Me" by P. Diddy ft. Jimmy Page blasts out of the PA System and Matt "Redline" Stevens appears from behind the curtains to a mixed reception from the fans. He smirks and walks out onto the top of the ramp where he raises both his arms above his head and red and white pyro goes off around him. Redline then slowly makes his way down the ramp towards the ring and nods at a few of the fans at ringside as he passes them by. He slides into the ring under the bottom rope, climbs the nearest turnbuckle and looks out into the crowd with a grin on his face. Redline then drops back down from the turnbuckle.
Ring Announcer Nathan Jacobs:
And his opponent, making his return to CPW, he is…MATT “REDLINE” STEVENS!!!
Bolt Thomas:
It’s been quite some time since we last saw Redline in a CPW ring, and he looks as good as he ever has!
Aaron Gurst:
That’s been a thing lately, hasn’t it? People coming back and looking like they’ve never left!
While the fans give Redline a decidedly mixed reaction - not helped by him waving them off dismissively - the referee calls for the bell and the match is officially underway. Angel Slade doesn’t waste any time in getting things started as he charges across the ring and hits Redline with a hard right hand! He follows it up with a second and then a third. Redline stumbles back from the impact as Angel then bounces off of the ropes to pick up speed. He hits Redline with a huge clothesline on the rebound! Redline stumbles back up to his feet and rests against a nearby turnbuckle as Angel comes charging in moments later and hits Redline with a running splash! Redline falls down to the mat as Angel calls for the fans to get loud and show him some support. They do so without any hesitation!
Bolt Thomas:
Well, to his credit…Angel Slade is off to a quick start in this one!
Aaron Gurst:
To his credit, it seems like he knows what it’ll take for him to win!
Redline stumbles back up to his feet once again. Angel closes the gap between the two of them and grabs hold of Redline. He tries to hoist him into the air for a vertical suplex! Redline blocks the attempt. Angel tries to lift Redline into the air a second time, but once again, Redline is able to block the attempt! This time, Redline responds by shoving Angel away from him! Angel briefly loses his footing, but recovers quickly and charges at Redline. Redline catches Angel by surprise by lifting him into the air and slamming him to the mat with a tilt-a-whirl backbreaker! Angel’s eyes go wide in pain, though he nonetheless tries to bring himself back up to his feet. Redline quickly runs at Angel and hits him in the mouth with a forearm shot, and then a second, and then a third! Angel is barely able to hold himself upright as Redline pulls him in and hoists Angel into the air. He holds him in the air for one…two…three…four…and then slams Angel to the mat with a brainbuster! He hooks the leg and picks up the…

Joe Summers vs. Candice Cane.
Ring Announcer Nathan Jacobs:
The following match is scheduled for ONE FALL!
"Cherry Pie” by Warrent begins to play over the arena. Candice Cane struts out of the entrance way, opening her fur coat and showing off her body to the fans, running her hands up her body while Jillian Lato crouches down and gyrates to a standing postion behind Cane. Spreading her arms out like she is making people move out of her way, Candice saunters down the aisle followed by Jillian. She dramatically removes her coat and lifts a leg up on the apron, then the other and slowly and seductively slides into the ring. Candice gets to her feet, whipping her hair back and arching her back to push her chest out before moving to the corner.
Ring Announcer Nathan Jacobs:
Introducing first, she is…CANDICE CANE!!!
Bolt Thomas:
Candice is definitely coming into this match with a bit of a chip on her shoulder…
Aaron Gurst:
It’ll be interesting to see how much of a difference that actually makes!
Blue lights strobe around the arena as the opening riffs of "Elevation" hit the arena sound system. The fans rise to their feet in anticipation. Suddenly, the opening drums of "Nothing Left" pound the sound system as Joe Summers comes running out from the back. He stands at the top of the ramp, looking focused as ever. The fans cheer loudly and show their support as Joe runs back and forth across the top of the ramp, calling for them to get even louder. He then smirks and makes his way down to the ring, slapping hands with the fans in the front row on his way. Joe slides into the ring and pops back up to his feet, soaking in the crowd reaction. He takes a deep breath and leans against the rope as he waits for the match to begin.
Ring Announcer Nathan Jacobs:
And her opponent, he is…JOE SUMMERS!!!
Bolt Thomas:
Meanwhile, some would say that Joe was looking past Candice, but, I’m not sure that’s true!
Aaron Gurst:
Look, I don’t like Joe, but I don’t doubt that he’ll be focused! However, at the same time…Candice would be justified in being annoyed with him!
The referee takes a moment to make sure both wrestlers are settled in the ring before calling for the bell. Joe cautiously steps toward the center of the ring as he waits for things to get started. Candice struts around the ring - using the ropes as cover - as she tries to rile up the fans. Candice then turns toward Joe and winks. He shakes his head as the two finally approach in the center of the ring and grapple up. Joe quickly gains the advantage as he drives Candice back against the nearest turnbuckle. Joe knocks her groggy with a forearm smash before shooting Candice across the ring! She crashes into the nearest turnbuckle and slumps against it as Joe comes charging across the ring. He leaps into the air and tries to catch her with a Stinger Splash, only to have Candice duck out of the way at the last possible second! Aaron Gurst:

Joe tries to pull himself back up to his feet. Candice quickly tries to keep momentum on her side as she bounces off of the ropes. She comes back on the rebound and tries to hit Joe with a running dropkick, though Joe ducks out of the way at the last possible second! Candice stumbles back up to her feet as Joe grabs hold of her. He shoots her across the ring and lifts her into the air on the rebound, slamming Candice down to the mat with a tilt-a-whirl slam! Candice rolls over to the ropes and uses them to pull herself back up to her feet. Jillian yells up at Joe to try and distract him. Joe ignores her and pulls Candice toward the center of the ring, lifting her into the air and slamming her down with a butterfly suplex! The fans show Joe their support as he smirks and waits for Candice to pull herself back up to her feet.

Aaron Gurst:
If he won’t pay attention to you, sometimes you need to force the issue!
Bolt Thomas:
They’ve done a good job of keeping Joe from taking control of this match, but they still haven’t done enough to put him away!
Candice grabs hold of Joe and locks in a front facelock in hopes of wearing him down. Jillian calls for the fans to cheer the two of them on from the floor, though the fans don’t take the bait. This seems to annoy the two of them. Candice yells something out and tries to set Joe up for a DDT, though before she can plant Joe on the mat, he blocks the attempt and shoves Candice away from him! She stumbles a few steps before charging at Joe and walking right into a superkick! Candice drops to her knees and tries to stumble back up to her feet. Once she’s standing, Joe bounces off of the ropes and ducks underneath a clothesline attempt. He continues to pick up speed before throwing himself at Candice and delivering a massive spear! Candice clutches at her ribs and rolls over toward the ropes to keep Joe from going for the cover.
Bolt Thomas:
Even with the, uh…teamwork that we’ve seen from Candice and Jillian, Joe’s experience and athleticism have kept him in this match!
Candice reaches her feet as Jillian walks around the ring and tries to give Candice her support. Joe steps toward the ropes and tries to grab hold of Candice while Jillian starts to yell at him. This appears to distract Joe just enough for Candice to shove Joe away from her. He stumbles back a few steps. Candice smirks and charges at Joe - who responds by lifting Candice into the air and dropping her onto his knees for a gutbuster! Ring Announcer Nathan Jacobs:
The following contest is set for one fall!
"Punishment" by Biohazard begins to play, Golden light fills the arena as a white strobe alternates in time with the music. Suddenly, Archangel Michael appears. He stands in all of his glory and surveys his dominion for evil to vanquish before heading down to the right.

Bolt Thomas:

Aaron Gurst:

Light Em Up/Radioactive mashup begins to to play. Stephen and Ryan Ashworth come jogging out of the entrance way. Stephen throws his arms out, waving to the crowd to make some noise and trying to get the crowd behind them while Ryan raises his arms. They go to the center of the ramp, holding up three fingers and begin counting down “Three...Two...One! Lay-on!” while throwing the arm out and lifting a finger for the countdown.
The two walk down to the ring, slapping hands with the fans and then climb the stairs at ringside and head into the ring. They each take a turnbuckle, Ryan looking over the crowd and throwing his arms out, while Stephen again, tries to rally the crowd behind them, yelling "It's party time!" to the cheering crowd. The two men climb down and exit the ring. Ryan takes off his headband, giving it to a fan at ringside and then removes his jacket, handing it to Stephen, the climbs the stairs and enters the ring.
Ring Announcer Nathan Jacobs:
And his opponent, weighing in at 225 pounds, he hails from Cape Cod, Massachusetts, representing Ripper, this is Ryan Ashworth!
Bolt Thomas:
And here comes a young go-getter!
Aaron Gurst:
Really?
Bolt Thomas:
What?
Aaron Gurst:
He’s facing an Archangel and that’s what you’ve got?
Archangel Michael raises arms and suddenly a blinding light settles over everyone so that Ryan Ashworth, the referee and everyone in the first five rows can see nothing at all.
Bolt Thomas:
What is going on?
Aaron Gurst:
I have no idea, I can’t see anything.
Bolt Thomas:
Can anybody? What is going on?
Aaron Gurst:
It hurts just trying to look!
The crowd murmurs, some even screaming in pain from the bright light. Ashworth tries to move but he cannot find anywhere to go. The referee looks away and falls across the middle ropes to avoid going blind.
Bolt Thomas:
Where’s Manfred Mann when you need him?
Aaron Gurst:
That’s a Springsteen song!
Bolt Thomas:
Does anybody remember it from the Boss?
Aaron Gurst:
Either way, I think we’re all blinded by the light!
The light finally goes down and Michael races at Ryan. As the light starts coming down, the still sight-impaired Ryan jumps up to the top rope and jumps off catching the Archangel for the Pissah. Michael hits hard and Ryan covers him. The referee staggers over and counts.

Aaron Gurst:
Disturbed did what he does best. He created chaos and hurt people.
Ring Announcer Nathan Jacobs:
Introducing first, he is… DISTURBED!!!
Wayward One starts playing as the lights turn Blue and Silver. 12 seconds into the song, Francisco Lopez appears on the stage, surrounded by smoke. He slowly makes his way to the ring, staring at his battleground as he walks around the ring. He slides into the ring, and stands in the center of the ring for a few moments, staring into the distance. He walks toward a nearby corner and stands, waiting for the match to start.
Bolt Thomas:
And here is another contender at Super Brawl. Who may also be looking to send a message to the new champion.
Aaron Gurst:

Ring Announcer Nathan Jacobs:

The bell rings and both wrestlers begin to circle one another. Disturbed shoots in, but Lopez dodges a grapple and turns around hitting Disturbed in the mouth with a spinning right hook. Disturbed shrugs off the hit and advances toward Lopez. He slams him in the chest with a heavy chop and grabs him by the throat, tossing him into the nearest corner. Disturbed runs at him and attempts a running back elbow, but Lopez escapes and Disturbed slams into the turnbuckles. Lopez hits him with a kneelift into a bulldog.

Joe kicks out again!
Candice clutches at her ribs once again and tries to catch her breath. Joe quickly grabs hold of Candice and snaps off The End of Summer, hooking the leg afterwards and picking up the…

What was he talking about with those commandments?
Aaron Gurst:

Bolt Thomas:

Aaron Gurst:
He better have a miracle in him or…
Light Em Up/Radioactive mashup begins to to play.

Wayward One starts playing as the lights turn Blue and Silver. 12 seconds into the song, Francisco Lopez appears on the stage, surrounded by smoke. He slowly makes his way to the ring, staring at his battleground as he walks around the ring. He slides into the ring, and stands in the center of the ring for a few moments, staring into the distance. He walks toward a nearby corner and stands, waiting for the match to start.
Bolt Thomas:
And here is another contender at Super Brawl. Who may also be looking to send a message to the new champion.
Aaron Gurst:
What don’t pin me again?
Ring Announcer Nathan Jacobs:
And his opponent, from Hartford, Connecticut, he is… FRANCISCO LOPEZ!!!
Bolt Thomas:
These two men are definitely not strangers when it comes to this ring.

At the 18second mark of the song as the lyrics kick in we watch as Nightmare make his way onto the stage. His head cloaked by the zipped black hoodie he wears; we watch as he takes a few steps forward before looking out at the crowd. Turning his back he pauses for a moment before beginning to walk backwards towards the ring while looking up at the arena tron. After a few steps he turns around and sprints the rest of the way to the ring and slides under the bottom rope. Once inside the ring, we watch as Nightmare goes to the far right turnbuckle and stands atop the 2nd rope and unzips his hoodie to display his title before unbuckling it and letting it fall to the ground. As he looks out at the crowd Nightmare throws his arms up in an X under his chin before extending his arms out to flip off the crowd before looking down at the belt before sitting cross-legged in the corner, awaiting for the match to begin.

As he comes up closer to her, Francisco Lopez comes running out and gives the big man a running knee to the back. Disturbed grabs Lopez by the throat and glares down at him with wild, wrathful eyes. Nightmare comes running down and jumps at Disturbed as well. Miss Daisy staggers up and attacks Nightmare. Disturbed spins and cracks both of them with a big backfirst.
