There is one single most important piece of advice anybody can ever give you to be successful in this e-fed, and I’m shocked, appalled, and yes, even outraged that nobody else has bothered to mention it!
You should be warned that reading the following advice will drastically increase your IQ rating. I strongly advise against moving on if you have a modicum of intelligence to start with, as the sudden increase in roleplaying wisdom will likely cause your head to explode. The rest of us, a bit dimmer on the string of light bulbs, should survive and come out all the closer to enlightenment for it. I must reiterate that if you continue on it may well blow your mind. Here it is:
You have to post roleplays to win matches.
Yeah, for some reason the administrative staff around here don’t give wins to people who post nothing.
I should know because for the better part of the past six years I have posted a lot of nothing on these forums and I can tell you not only have I lost matches but I haven’t even been booked for up to a year at a time! Hell, I’ve posted nothing so much you could consider me something of a Guru of Nothing, master of nothing, even long uncrowned champion of nothing! I know all about nothing, and nobody knows nothing better then me! Under the cloak of subjective judging these moderators have long harbored a strong biased against nothing. What good are words really anyway? All they do is tell you stuff! Nothing gives you plenty of room to rest your eyes and just take nothing in. It certainly results in a lot less flame wars and an overall smoother OOC community, when people post nothing. It’s favoritism at it’s worst and…
Wait, what was I talking about? <.<;
*Scrolls up*
Oh yeah, you have to post RPs on the forums to win matches.
Unless instead of posting roleplays you e-mail them to the admins or something, so nobody else can see them. But that would be sneaky. Shame! *makes a mental note to type up 1,000 RPs consisting of one sentence each to e-mail to Gina to cover all his matches for the next few months*
There, you have been given the greatest pearl of wisdom there is! Either your head has exploded and you are dead, or you have reached a new level of enlightenment! Either way congratulations! Nirvana is now within your grasp! No, seriously, the CD is right there, on top of your monitor. Quickly, grab it! Now, throw it out the window! Throw it out before it’s too late!!!
Phew. There, that was close.
